My name is Oliver Jansen. I'm a Dutch gokart racer born august 9, 2010. Since the day I was born I'm interested in cars, fast cars. As a baby, I didnot watch Sesamstreet, Dora or other programs for children. I didnot like those programs but instead i watched Top Gear and Formule 1 races. I also didnot like comics but I preffered car magazines. When I was asked what car I would love to have, I answered that that would be a green Lamborghini Gallardo and I will buy one as soon as I become 18 years old.

When I turned 4 I left kindergarden. I celebrated my birthday with the teachers and they asked me how old I became. I said, 18!!!! That was not the answer they expected me to give. They asked why? I said that I now could buy and drive my own car. 

At that age I started to play xbox Formule 1 and I got more interested in watching Formule 1. My parents recorded the races so I could watch them over and over again. I love the race in Brasil 2016, when it rained and Max Verstappen showed a great race.

My mother then decided in august 2016 to send me to a gokart school in Lelystad. First I drove a rented Parolin Dolphin gokart and in Januari 2017 I got my first gokart, my own Parolin Rocky, which is for the age 7 till 12. Since then I had many more lessons and races. I now have the age and my licence so I can race for the dutch championship for 2018 which will start soon.

I joined the kart-academy team and they will help me this season with technical support and tactical advise.
